Lates Damian Lillard Model

Dame 8

  • Bounce Pro in the midsole
  • Upper materials are breathable and flexible
  • Lack of premium materials
  • Price: $120

The adidas Dame 8 may be the best looking Damian Lillard shoe in a while. The shoe also features some performance features that make it stand out among the rest.

The Dame 8 features a new cushioning technology from adidas, Bounce Pro, a very lightweight, non-premium upper and a heavily padded tongue and Achilles bootie. The synthetic materials and the Bounce Pro make the shoes super easy to break-in.

adidas Dame 6 | Detailed Look and Review

The adidas Dame 6 has launched and we’re taking a detailed look at what to expect. Bounce is out and Lightstrike is in. I’m not 100% sure if I like the move, but we’ll see how it goes.

adidas Dame 8 Shoes

Dame has been killing it in his new shoe ad and already has dropped some great colorways of the shoe. We have seen several Trail Blazers-inspired looks, but the cleanest colorway to date has to be all teal, and pink version Dame broke out on December 15th versus the Phoenix Suns.

The adidas Dame 8 features Bounce Pro, a dual-density setup that keeps you both stable and comfortable. The top layer is dense, so you don’t feel wobbly, while the bottom layer is more plush and soft, absorbing impact well. It’s a great implementation of new technology, and we’re excited about how it will improve in the coming models.

adidas Dame 6 Shoes

Damian Lillard’s 6th signature shoe was a bit of a letdown. Traction should have been much better while support could have been better as well. Also, the fit needed work and the materials were lackluster.

The Dame 6 was released at a pretty low price point, but even so, it offered very little bang for your buck.

The Dame line is one of the better signature lines on the market and hopefully, the Dame 6 was just a hiccup

Even while wearing a subpar shoe, Dame still turned in a spectacular NBA season. He averaged 30 ppg,  8 apg, and 4 rbpg all while hitting 4 3’s a night. He was in the running for the season’s MVP, he was named to the All NBA second team as well as that year’s All-star roster and hit way too many clutch shots to even count. The Blazers finished 8th in the west and fell to the mighty Lakers in the first round of the Playoffs. But, all in all, Dame time had an amazing season filled with signature moments.

Even thogh the Dame 6 was not one of the best on-court performers, it was a rather popular model among NBA players. Like all shoes with synthetic uppers, we saw many different colorways and hyper-personalized PE’s, so at least what you don’t get in premium feel you get back in flavors of the shoe. One colorway, in particular, stood out. The McDonald’s colorway was equal parts jarring and kitch.

adidas Officially Unveils the Dame 6 with Release Date

The latest edition of Dame’s signature shoe line is officially unveiled in a variety of energetic colorways, including the “Ruthless” and “Hecklers” edition, which tell the story of Lillard’s personality on-and-off the court.

adidas Dame 5 Shoes

The Dame 5 was one of the best shoes of 2019. Period.

If there was a feature that wasn’t amazing, it was the materials. Everything else, was excellent: great traction, great cushion, superior lockdown, wonderful support, and stability. It may not look like a premium signature shoe at first glance, but it most definitely performs like one.

Dame Lillard’s 2019 season was, in one word, iconic. The 2019 season meant the birth of Logo Dame and his almost mythic buzzer-beating, uber-deep three that sent the Oklahoma City Thunder packing out of that year’s Playoffs. Lillard averaged just about 27 / 7 /5, was an all-star, and was named to the All NBA Second Team. The Trail Blazers finished 3rd in the Western Conference and were able to reach that year’s conference final where they would fall to the Golden State Warriors.

Of the dozens of colorways that hit the hardwood that year, the most memorable had to be the Black Panthers. The shoe featured a black and purple upper that mimicked the super heroes suit, with the words “Wakanda Forever” etched into the heel. One of the cleanest promotional colorways in recent years. If you don’t mind the “selling out” factor, this model was quite attractive.

Damian Lillard’s adidas Dame 5 May Have Leaked

After initial renderings of the adidas Dame 5 leaked in May we couldn’t wait to see what the shoe would actually look like. Thanks to some overseas sneaker spies, we have a look what could be the Dame 5.

adidas Dame 4 Shoes

The adidas Dame 4 offered similar performance features to the Dame 3 but you can feel the evolution between the two after playing in them.

The Dame 4 offers a sleeker, more streamlined design than the Dame 3, a slightly improved forefoot cushion set up, and some odd looking but super effective traction.

One of the best Dame shoes for the best Dame season. Dolla was named to the 1st All NBA team and that year’s All-Star team, he averaged 27 / 7 / 5, and finished 4th in the MVP race. The Blazers finished 3rd in the West but were surprisingly booted out of the NBA Playoffs in the first round by the New Orleans Pelicans, led by a one Anthony Davis. Even with the disappointing end to the season, it still felt like Lillard finally had established himself as one of the NBA’s elite and a force to be reckoned with.

The Dame 4 wasn’t a particularly popular shoe that year, although it should have been (IMO). If you can get over the weird “putting on the shoe” process, the Dame 4 is one of the better shoes in recent years and an attractive model at that. Two colorways that really stood out were the Dame 3 BAPE collabs and the Venum PE that Utha’s Donovan Mitchell rocked.

adidas Dame 3 Shoes

The adidas Dame 3 is a great sneaker. A very well-rounded model that will accommodate most players and foot shapes.

The grippy blade traction, the plush and bouncy cushion, and the durable, quick to break in materials make the Dame 3 a standout performer.

But perhaps the best feature of the Dame 3, and of Damian Lillard’s shoes in general, is the price. One of the best bang for your buck lines on the market.

On a personal level, Dame had a very respectable 2017 season. HE averaged a Cool 27 ppg, 6 apg and 5 rbpg. This was his third straight season as one of the NBA’s second tier of superstars, and he was about to bust through to the top tier.

The Trail Blazers squeaked into the playoffs where they were promptly swept by the eventual NBA Champs, Golden State Warriors. The season ended on a note of disappointment for both the team and Dame.

The Dame 3 released in December of 2016, and never really caught on as a top seller. The shoe was one of the best performing shoes of the season and deserved a bit more love, but their odd esthetics might have been the reason for their lukewarm reception. There were a ton of different colorways of the shoe but none seemed to catch on as a fan favorite.

adidas Dame 2 Shoes

The Dame 2 was one of the best performance models of 2015, and one of the best bang for your buck models ever.

The Dame 2 features the best possible version of Bounce cushion, great traction (most models feature Continental rubber also), and great premium feeling materials. If on top of that you add the fact that they were initially launched for $105 USD, you have one of the most pleasantly surprising models in recent memory.

During the 2015 /16 season, Dame made it clear that he was here to stay as one of the NBA’s elite. He still wasn’t in the top echelon of superstars but he was at least going to be a problem for opposing teams night in and night out.

He averaged 25 ppg 7 apg and 4 rbpg, he was named to the All NBA 2nd team, participated in his second all-star game, and finished 8th in the MVP race. Not too shabby.

The Dame 2 was easily one of the best shoes of the 2016 season. There were “a million” different colorways and a bunch of different versions: some with synthetic uppers, some with knits, some with continental rubber soles, etc. Which was great for fans of the shoe who were able to pick a shoe that fit their tastes perfectly. The Primeknit upper, boost cushion versions were particularly excellent.

adidas Dame 1 Shoes

The Damian Lillard (Dame) 1 is a decent budget model. Being a budget model implies that you are getting something for less while a bang for your buck model means that you’re paying less for something, but getting a lot out of your dollar.

The Dame 1 features adiprene cushion that works very well and some stand out materials for a budget shoe. The traction was inconsistent but not terrible. The worst feature was the fit. There were good support features implemented, but the sloppy fit negated their effects.

This was Damian Lillard’s first signature, and a good starting point.

After 2 years of torching NBA guards every night, Damian Lillard made it clear that he was no fluke. The underrated Webber State product was clearly one of the NBA’s young budding superstars.

Aside from getting his first signature shoe with Adidas, Lillard averaged 21 / 6 / 5, was named to his second All-Star team and carried the Trail Blazers to the Play-Offs.

Dame went from rocking different D-Rose models to having his own shoes in just 2 years in the league. The Dame 1 was one of the most attractive models that season and they were very fairly priced as well, which would become a theme in the Lillard signature line. One colorway, in particular, stood out of that first signature model: The Dame 1 Rose City.
