A Look Back at the Brandblack J Crossover 1

Today, we’re taking a look back at the Brandblack J Crossover 1.

It’s not often that I’m able to look back at a past model and reflect on how that shoe may have shaped, or reshaped, my life. Sounds weird, I know, but that is what came to mind when I first laid my eyes on the Brandblack J Crossover 1 — again.

Not only do I reflect on the shoe, but also what had come from testing and reviewing them. It’s definitely something I will never take for granted.

If you wanted to take a look back at the Brandblack J Crossover ,1 then I hope you enjoy the video.

  1. I grabbed most of the JC2 era (just missing the low), of course the Ether, and then the Rare Metal. All are solid, with the Ether still being my favorite. At least with all those pairs, you can tell there was careful decision-making when adding aesthetic touches. They don’t interfere with the function, but are also integrated and not some simple lazy efforts.

Hoping the ZO2.19 releases in more colorways soon after the debut run. Very interested in that shoe.

  2. Most underrated brand out there by a long shot. They release so many awesome shoes, both aesthetically and performance-wise, and they just unfortunately hit sales racks all too often. Just goes to show people are too brand-focused when it comes to shoes.

I just got the jet for like $33 on amazon. High quality leather upper(even on the inside) and a full length air bubble like an air max. So comfy. Its a casual shoe but I’ll probably try to shoot around or even ball in them at some point, and they seem like they’d do decent.

I hope to see them continue. I know they make big baller stuff, but i want to see the brandblack brand go on and put out killer shoes.

  3. It’ll be interesting to see how they progress now that they aren’t Skechers backed. Less loop holes to jump through but also less funding.
